Planned Giving Day is scheduled for September 18, 2025 at Cleveland Marriott East.

Join us as a presenter for a day of insightful discussions, real-world applications, and a deeper understanding of passion-driven philanthropy and share your most innovative charitable gift planning strategies with over 150 nonprofit leaders and allied professionals at Planned Giving Day in September 2025.

Northern Ohio Charitable Gift Planners presents a Planned Giving Day that features the best training and professional development available in all facets of charitable giving. The outstanding reputation of Planned Giving Day is a direct reflection of the talent of our presenters who share their knowledge during high quality presentations.

Our presenters share best practices so that gift planners develop their skills - thereby helping donors become philanthropists. Presentations range from the introductory to advanced level. The topics may include: gift techniques and strategies; management and administration of fundraising programs, policies and procedures; marketing and communications; partnerships with donors, families and allied professionals; laws, legislation and liability; and much more. We encourage real-life case studies, timely resource materials and advocacy about emerging issues.

The program committee will review proposals for the sessions with the following criteria:

Be designed to meet stated objectives and to stimulate learning
Provide attendees with tools or ideas to take home and apply
Include speakers selected for diversity of organizations (e.g. organization asset size, geographic region)
Give participants a fundamental working knowledge of the various planned giving instruments, the tools of planned giving, and the myriad of assets available for gifting
Feature differing points of view

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please read the guidelines and preliminary session outline form. If your proposal is selected, you and a member of the program committee will work closely to refine the session’s content and finalize the session’s format and agenda.
